Distortion of Beauty Standards - My work explores the concept of beauty standards, the gifs exemplify the distortion and hidden reality of trying to fulfill unrealistic beauty standards that are not created to be inclusive. The distortion of these illustrations signifies the issues and conflict that can happen to yourself, when you are forced to fit into a certain type of “beauty”, they illustrate the dysmorphia that can occur in women. The gifs are created to be an endless loop, to show how the cycle of beauty standards being pushed is never ending.
