Biography

Hello! I’m Beth Ingleton. My practice spans printmaking, branding, collage, typography and experimenting with digital techniques, applying these to a range of projects. I’m all about creating beautiful work and sharing my process and passions. My style is eclectic and adaptable and always underpinned by a considered use of colour! A keen collaborator, I love working with others, including Cinnamon Collective, a trio of avid printmakers, and VOID_lab, a cohort exploring emerging technologies and ideas within art. Throughout my time at BCU, I’ve developed my practice, earning a YCN commendation and getting into Secret 7 along the way. When I’m not working on creating lots of lovely stuff, I spend my time learning to play bass guitar, crafting or collecting new records. I’m currently looking for internships and graduate opportunities!

The Uninhabitable Earth (Penguin Student Design Awards) - Cover design for The Uninhabitable Earth, reflecting the themes of nature’s feedback loops and a crisis that seems inescapable, using wooden letterpress and torn natural imagery.

Sound & Texture (Disseration Publication) - A full editorial publication featuring my dissertation, exploring the relationship between texture and music.

Cat Linocut (YCN UK Greetings 20/21) - Illustrative cat linocut print, originally created as part of the YCN UK Greetings brief, for which I received a commendation!
