My style naturally gravitates towards gender neutral apparel which directly translates into the clothing I create as well. If fine artists use paper and canvas to express themselves, I use garments as my medium to convey my thoughts and feelings. Coming from an arts background myself, i have a very good understanding of traditional skills and competences, however the freest I feel with clothes.
I find myself approaching darker colour palettes and even darker themes and concepts, but it’s just my way of processing the world around me and sorting through my thoughts. Just like in Obscure, there is a certain kind of ambiguity in multiple senses that I love to play around and explore as deeply as possible, which proves to be and endless source of inspiration and frustration at the same time.
Though my main way of expression is fashion, I love combining photography and illustration into projects as it adds to the variety but I can also combine hobbies of mine at the same time, giving me even more freedom of expression.
When my mind is swarming with ideas, I use projects to organise and make sense of everything.
