Linye Pan is a jewellery designer who graduated in Jewellery and Objects from Birmingham City University in 2023, She specialising in metalworking and also has a passion for researching innovative materials. Linye’s latest jewellery collection Unexpected Scent, investigates the relationship between fragrance and jewellery design. A collection of wearable scented jewellery is made by combining scented materials that have everyday scents known to the public with metals. By interacting with her jewellery creations, viewers can have an unexpected but familiar olfactory experience that stimulates and passively allows them to experience the Proust effect, a sensory experience that triggers memories through scents.
