Biography

My name is Aaron, and I am a BA (Hons) Architecture student at BCU. My passion for architecture started when I was young and throughout the years, I have progressed onto studying architecture and aiming to continually expand my knowledge of the industry. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time studying at BCU as it has given me the opportunity to approach different projects with a completely fresh outlook whilst taking advantage of the opportunities and constraints of each site. Architecture is a thoroughly essential part of daily life for any person although many do not realise this. Architecture is the fusion of visual, comfort, social, environmental as well as many other parameters throughout a person’s lifetime and using design, these parameters become a vital part of daily life. My final project has allowed me to explore and resolve a number of opportunities and issues presented by the site. As seen within my design portfolio, crime was an issue within the area of my site therefore I made it my primary aim to design a building which not only resolved this issue but created outstanding physical and social connection routes to serve the people using the building.
