My name is Abi Bledowski-Taylor, I recently finished my foundation in architecture and design and am hoping I will continue next year into a BA in architecture too, to complete my degree and become a fully qualified architect. My design background began in fashion design at the fashion retail academy, in London in 2017. While studying here I had the opportunity to work with House of Fraser as a design assistant, Work on industry projects with Asos and Topshop, contribute to a new line of skate shoes with converse as part of a research group. Along with many other amazing projects. Once leaving here I decided that I wanted to experiment with a new aspect of design, which lead me to my inspiration and idol Neri Oxman. A bio technician, bio architect, trained surgeon and all round strong leader. I was inspired to take up architecture because of the pure power behind it. Architects can save the world and the environment we live in. I couldn’t see myself being anything else. I aspire to one day work in an environment where you have the freedom to change path and objective based on new discoveries, materials and cultural change.
