I believe Landscape Architecture plays a major role in our understanding and perseveration of our environments. With climate change resilience, empowering communities and providing experiential moments within daily life, landscape surrounds us and is within us.
My design thesis projects aims to re-conceptualize climate change to embrace the inevitable and create something positively new. With rising sea levels, questions arise for the community of Fairbourne, I propose using the rise to raise the area up economically and ecologically. Becoming an exemplar of futuristic waterborne living, adapting old infrastructure for nature to claim and for an aquaculture revolution for revival of coastal towns and marine environments.
