Hello, my name is Andreea and I am a part 2 MArch graduate.
The thesis project represents a response to the demolition of the modernist estate, Central Hill, proposing an alternative approach that will conserve and save the existing scheme and bring more opportunities and residents to the site. The design incorporates modernist elements, harvested from a series of housing estates under the threat of demolition, highlighting the importance of refurbishment and the preservation of the existing communities.
