File (Critical Study and Manifesto) available for download

Critical Study and Manifesto - My critical study is about how can the production design of the film 'Parasite' be used to reveal the inadequacies of social housing in Korea and the UK. This is translated into a design manifesto which informs my FMP.

Hero image - This image was curated for the Final Major Project which shows the entrance to the 'Creative Commons' with the reception desk and the facade. It describes the materiality, light and shadows and atmosphere of the space.

Entrance Space - This reception desk is a bespoke design created for the 'Creative Commons'. It is designed with sustainability and inclusivity in mind but allows materiality to drive the design. It is made from oak veneer, CLT and bespoke terrazzo using a biscuit method to assemble on site.

A1 Board - This is the presentation board for 'The Creative Commons'. It shows the project as a whole design and allows the reader to be lead in the direction of the design process.

Design for Disassembly - Animation using After Effects to show the way a bar is disassembled and made into a bench.

Research Podcast FMP - This podcast shows the relationship between inclusivity and sustainability. It was made for the Creative Commons Final Major Project. In an interview with Josephine Bridges, it is evident that designers need to be more conscious about design issues which make a design truly functional.

Animation for The Creative Commons - Animation made using Twinmotion, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro for my Final Major Project. The animation is to portray the interior atmosphere of the site.
