My name is Jack Gregory, I am an architecture student currently finishing my 3rd year at BCU. My time at University, as well as a years experience at a practice has led me to developing a strong knowledge and passion for the practice. Regardless of the task in hand, I always strive to perform my best and contribute 100% of my effort.
My project is a factory/demonstration centre designed to manufacture and advertise a small modular multi-use workplace pod aimed at increasing employment and industry opportunities within the area. The site is a grade II listed building which was the former Brandeur works factory that I chose to preserve and refrain from changing. The schemes aesthetic was inspire by the industrial/secure fabric of the surrounding context, as well as its automotive industry which can be seen in the use of folded aluminium.
