I am an art jeweller, all my works research humans, whether as a medium or a theme. I like to study the opposite of secular stereotypes to explore different humanity. I strive to create bold and visually striking work with sharp ideas and hope that people will rethink the relationship between ethics and rebellion and the courage under the spirit of rebellion through my work.
This project Prometheus’ Punishment is my expression of women’s living status as a female artist. Prometheus who stole fire was punished by being imprisoned on a cliff and having his liver eaten by eagles endlessly. Women get strong fertility, but they are imprisoned by society, family, and morality. The newborn created by women also cannot save themselves, and they are ultimately trapped in this cycle of suffering. I use the female body as a torture tool to punish women themselves, to satirize that fertility is the original sin of women.
